UVA Wise students, are you interested in winning $1000?

Enter your business idea to the UVA Wise Entrepreneurship Concept Competition for your chance to win!

No idea is too big or too small, and no previous business experience is required. All you need is an idea!

First place - $1000
Second place - $500
Third place - $250

All you have to do is write a short Executive Summary explaining your concept and send it to McKenna Blevins at [email protected] and prepare a pitch presentation for the competition next Friday, Nov. 15. Please reach out with any questions you may have or for more information!

The Nest will host the 2nd annual Cav’s Tank Pitch Night on Tuesday, October 8 at 6 pm! This event is open to all students and the pitch night viewing will be open to the community as well! Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Tomorrow, Wednesday September 18, Innovators INC will be featuring a guest speaker for their weekly meeting at 6 PM at The Nest. The U of Hustle Program will begin at 7 PM, and all students are welcome to attend!

Zak Sturgill, an alumnus of UVA-Wise and local entrepreneur will be speaking to students about his business, LaZa Modz Custom Controllers.

The Nest is located at 213 Park Ave NE in Downtown Wise, across the street from Family Dollar.
