Hey there! Do you remember that tomorrow (Saturday) is Fair Clean Up Day?

It takes a lot of help to get shelves & display racks ready in the Junior Fair and Hockey Buildings. Everyone who enjoys exhibiting should lend a hand.

Older youth can set up shelves and younger ones can wipe them down. Please bring some pails and wash rags.

See you at 8 AM!

4-H Shooting Sports certification is coming to Wood County!
Are you interested in helping youth learn how enjoy lifelong pursuits like archery, air rifle, air pistol, and shotgun? Then this certification program is for you!

Get certfied and join our amazing Wisconsin 4H Shooting Sports instructor team.

Wood County 4-H Calendar Raffle tickets are on sale NOW! Tickets are availabel from your favorite 4-H clubs and will also be available at the Junior Fair office during the Central Wisconsin State Fair.
Sales go through August 31.

Hey 4-H'ers!
Here's your chance to get your artwork on the cover of next year's Junior Fair Book!

RULES:
• Contest is open to youth in grades 3 through 13.
• One entry per person.
• All entries to be submitted on white paper and placed in a sheet protector.
• Paper size must be 8 ½” x 11”.
• Entry must be drawn in portrait orientation.
• Entry must be the original work of the contestant.
• Copyright figures are not permitted.
• Only black ink or felt tip pens are to be used.
• Computer design is permitted.
• Cover design must include the following information on it:
2027 Junior Fair Premium List
Central Wisconsin State Fair
Marshfield, WI
• Contestant’s name must be included on the cover design in the lower right-hand corner.
• Entry must be turned in on entry day of the 2026 CWSF at the Junior Fair Office, no later than 8:00pm.
• A $25.00 award will be sponsored for the winning cover design. It will be awarded Thursday at the
awards program at 1:00pm in the Jer Lang Show Palace.

Here's some exciting news for Dairy Project members:

Wisconsin 4-H is sending a delegation of 4-H'ers to the National 4-H Dairy Conference in Madison September 27-30!

If you are a Dairy Project member age 15-18, watch your email for a special message from the state 4-H office. But you don't have to wait . . . you can submit your application through 4-H Online now. The application deadline is August 31.

National Dairy Conference delegates will be able to participate in the National 4-H Dairy Judging Contest, but won't be able to show animals during World Dairy Expo because of time contraints.

RESCHEDULED!

With the unexpected air quality last week we had to cancel our swim night. However, we were able to reschedule for Thursday, July 30 from 4:00-7:00pm. It will still remain at the Rapids Aquatic Park.
