Hey everyone, I need help! I mentioned creating a 'Then and Now' slide show of the school but I can't find my yearbook. I'm hoping some of you can rescue me. If you have any (1994-ish) pictures of
*Front entrance (outside)
*Office
*Lunch room
*Commons (especially the pit)
*Kitchen area
Preferably with little to no people, please DM me.

Well, #30 is in the books and probably the most memorable one in my opinion. The renovated school has many of us wanting to re-enroll, even for a day. (I'm working on getting pictures in order) Seriously though, how many reunions have taken place during a torrential downpour, needing to take shelter due to a tornado warming? SHOUT OUT TO ALL WHO LITERALLY BRAVED THE STORM! Even though the game was ultimately canceled, I think it's safe to say, we had a great time! Facebook may help us keep in touch but nothing beats those face to face conversations. Any thoughts on how to boost attendance for next time? I'll start talking ideas for activities! HMU if you'd be interested in assisting. :D

The status of the game is still TBD however if we get the go ahead the EARLIEST the game will start is 10pm.

We're one week away! Here's an update on the day's events
1)Tour of the renovated LHS starting at 1:00, meet around 12:45. You may park in the front lot and use the main entrance.
2) Rapids Rafters baseball game. Gates open at 5:30, first pitch at 6:35. (Link below for tickets) Speaking of tickets, it seems I was misinformed about the number of tickets sold. According to the GM, there are only 22 spoken for/paid. We need 50 in order for our group to have the Rat Trap, exclusively, otherwise the remainder of the tickets will be offered to other groups to fill the space.
3) I mentioned R&R Patio Bar after the game. Live music by THE NOW but if anyone has other suggestions, please share! If I'm not mistaken, Rae Cleveland's brother is part owner so I thought it would be great to support a local business.

(EDTITED 7/11- I've decided to forego the hard copy/book and just dedicate this post to WHERE ARE WE NOW. Feel free to post your submissions here rather than in a DM. If you already sent me a message, I'll copy and paste it for you. THANKS FOR KEEPING IN TOUCH! )

When my preschool kids are napping, SOMETIMES I get to breath and think. Today my thoughts led me to classmates who are unable to attend the reunion; Not just our 30th but any from here forward, so I came up with an idea. If you are willing, please type up a couple of paragraphs about where you are now. You don't need to write a novel, just a little blurb updating us on your current life status. Granted most of us are on FB BUT we're not all connected that way. Feel free to DM me and I'll copy and paste your 'story' into a book of some sort. My hope is to create a hard copy to have available at the reunion for everyone to keep but that will depend on the Rafters rules. DEADLINE WILL BE JULY 10TH SO PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!

I do my best to remember the names of classmates who have passed. I used the list from previous memorials and added Mark Hesso and Jacinda Fenske. Please let me know if I missed anyone or if I need to correct spelling. I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to bring it into the stadium but if not, I'll figure something out! TIA for your help!

If you want to keep the party going after the game, R & R Patio Bar will have live music on stage with 'The Now.' R & R has made some incredible changes to the former Jokers establishment and they have such a great vibe! Grab a drink or some food, kick back and see for yourself why I think this place is on the fast track to becoming the area's best entertainment venue!

SPREAD THE WORD.... It's come to my attention that many classmates aren't seeing the information about the reunion so PLEASE share this. I just checked in at the box office and we're a little over half sold out for July 13 Rafter's game! This is exciting but it also means we're not at capacity and I want to change that! I'll share the order link or you can call the box office directly. Be sure to mention Lincoln High School Class of 1994 so you get the Rat Trap tickets! (Tickets include food and drinks. :) )

I'M BACK!
Saturday July 13 will start with a tour of the renovated school. (There have been some significant changes since #25.) Mr. Rasmussen will be ready for us at 1pm so let's shoot for 12:45 meeting time. The tour will last about an hour depending on questions and if there's any specific area anyone wants to see.
We have the Rat Trap reserved for that evening's Rafters game against the Lakeshore Chinooks. Gates open at 5:35 with first pitch at 6:35. Informational flyer is in a previous post but your ticket will include food and drinks.
Back to the tour, if you are interested in walking through LHS, please 'LIKE' this post so I can give Mr. R a rough head count in case he needs to ask another staff to assist. THANKS!

Principal Rasmussen is available Friday 7/12 and Saturday 7/13 to give us a tour of LHS. Please vote for the day that works better for you.
