Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir

Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir The Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir began in November of 2004. All who love to sing are welcome to join us!

It is a non-auditioned mixed chorus that performs two concerts per year in December and in May. “The mission of the Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir is to provide a creative outlet for people to come together to sing quality choral music for the enjoyment of its members and the community.”

The Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir performs a wide variety of musical styles including Broadway,

folk songs, spirituals, popular, classical, and jazz. The choir meets twice each month on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30pm. Each season runs from September through December and January through May with a concert to end each season.All rehearsals and concerts are held at the First Congregational Church, 311 2nd St, Wisconsin Rapids. Since 2004, the Wisconsin Rapids Area Community Choir has served the Wisconsin Rapids area by providing singers an outlet to rehearse and perform four-part choral music. Anyone high school age through adult who interested in singing in this ensemble may contact us by leaving a message on this page.

Thank you so much to all those who supported us in our 2025-26 season! We appreciate the hard and noble work of all our directors and guest conductors; Cyd Cooper, Vicky Dresser, Jan Dykstra, Jen Pulvermacher, and Caleb McGregor, as well as our fabulous collaborative accompanist, Mary Englert! Our members had such a great time singing together this season, they are on a well-deserved summer break. However, we look forward to next fall and making music in our community together again!

Do you love to sing? Come join us this spring! New choir members are always welcome - no audition necessary. Our rehearsals are low pressure, and the only requirement is that we all simply love to sing! Come sit in on our first "open" rehearsal on January 27th, 2026!
