This past week we had the opportunity to have an incredible guest speaker come in to our meeting! .stef is a pharmacist who took time out of her busy schedule to share knowledge regarding the medical field and her profession. February is CTE Month, and we’re celebrating the amazing teachers shaping our futures! 💙 Career and Technical Education (CTE) equips students with hands-on skills for success in the workforce. A special shoutout to our very own advisor, Mrs. Jarosinski, for being one of the incredible CTE instructors making a difference every day. If you see her in the hallways, be sure to give her a high-five!

Our Co-President, Hailey Lowe, works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and kindly volunteered to share her experience with us. 🙌 We encourage everyone and anyone interested in healthcare to become a CNA, and a class at our school can get you started on this rewarding journey! 📚✨ It’s a great way to boost your college resume and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Week recap ⏪

On Tuesday we had our December meeting that included lots of delicious snacks (obviously) and information regarding door decorating, the food pantry, seasons of sharing, and competition. All of the information is in canvas! 🍪 🚪 🥫🎄📝

On Thursday we decorated cards to give to health care workers and residents in long term care facilities! 🎄 ❤️🎅

On Saturday, members volunteered their time at the food pantry! 🥫

This week was filled with fun volunteer opportunities! We hope you had an incredible week and enjoy your last week before break! 🥳

Wisconsin HOSA is growing and will have nearly 3,000 high school members competing between 50+ unique events as part of the upcoming Regional Leadership Competitions! As a result, we will need additional volunteers to help support the Live Day this year.

Please share the RLC Judging opportunity within your professional networks. Judges will be able to participate in the comfort of their own home! The time commitment is approximately 2-4 hours depending on the event.

If you are interested in being an RLC judge, please direct your contacts to fill out the sign-up form by no later than December 15th. Please note alumni members need to be 2+ years out of high school to be eligible to judge.
