The Introduction to Health Science class devoted a couple of days to learning about infection control and standard precautions. The groups conducted research on the importance of each and subsequently instructed one another, incorporating practical exercises on glove removal and hand washing.

The Medical Occupations Exploration class had been busy investigating health careers and developing presentation boards to educate us about their future career interests.

Caitlyn Mendrzycki, a Junior at Lincoln High School, competed at HOSA nationals in Nashville, Tennessee this summer. She was recently able to present her experience in front of the School Board and what HOSA does for the community and the students involved. Way to go Caitlyn!
