Hello Dells Judo,
It is with a very heavy heart that I am having to deal with the issues of life that make continuing Judo no longer possible. I have no black belts to assume the role as sensei. Ben and Shawn both have work/family concerns that do not allow regular attendance. This brings to an end of my 58 year Judo career. Special thanks to all the assistant and visiting coaches that helped Dells Judo grow. Thanks to the parents. You sacrificed time and energy to help with club activities and insured your kids made it to practice and tournaments. To all my students, past and present, know that you made this Sensei’s life a joy. It was always a labor of love for me. To my wife Rae Ann, thank you for being at my side and make arrangements for club activities that helped ease my load 😘. Love ya. Thanks to all my fellow Judo instructors/mentors and friends for passing on to me their knowledge and passion for the sport. There are way too many over 58 years for me to adequately list them all and give them their proper due. You men and women know who you are. You’re all loved and appreciated. Finally, thanks to my parents, Bonnie and Jerry Boyer. Hard to finish this goodbye without more than a few tears, as I recall all we as a family went through. You were both there as a my biggest cheerleader 📣 when I was both a competitor and Instructor.

I will leave this FB site open for memories and photos.

Much love and respect to all.
Kiyotsuke, Rei

Had this been one of Dells Judo’s students, his career would have been over. I don’t care how good you think you are, on any given day you can be beat. His behavior was totally him but his instructor should be mightily embarrassed.

!!!Important Update!!!
To our Wisconsin Dells Judo family:

With heavy hearts, we must share that Wisconsin Dells Judo will be going on a break due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. At this time, we are uncertain when—or if—the club will be able to reopen.

We are deeply grateful for your support and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Sensei with any questions or concerns.
