DRUG INTERDICTION & TRAFFIC STOP OPERATIONS

After the success of our recent Drug Interdiction course, Paragon Training Co. is bringing it back on December 7, 2026, at the South Berwick Police Department.

Our previous class was a great success, bringing officers together for practical, real-world training focused on identifying criminal activity, developing drug investigations from traffic stops, current case law, concealment methods, interviewing techniques, and effective vehicle searches.

This course is designed around what officers are actually seeing on the road and provides techniques they can take back and immediately apply on shift.

OC Spray and Handcuffing Instructor Course
Hosted by Winthrop Police Department

Paragon Training Co. and F3 Defense are proud to bring this comprehensive instructor-level course to Winthrop. This training is designed for law enforcement professionals looking to enhance their skills, build confidence, and return to their agency with the ability to effectively instruct others.

This course goes beyond basic certification. It focuses on real-world application, legal considerations, and modern training standards to ensure officers are prepared for today’s challenges.

Participants will receive hands-on instruction in OC spray deployment, including proper technique, targeting, and decision-making under stress. The course also covers use of force considerations, case law, and how to articulate actions clearly in reports and court.

Officers will learn safe and effective decontamination procedures, along with best practices to reduce liability and ensure subject and officer safety. The handcuffing portion of the course focuses on control tactics, positioning, and practical techniques that can be applied immediately in the field.

A strong emphasis is placed on instructor development. Attendees will learn how to confidently teach these skills within their own departments, structure training sessions, and deliver material in a clear and professional manner.
