A new story has arrived on the Winthrop Grade School Book Walk! 📚🌞

Thanks to Mrs. Fitzgerald’s partnership with Bailey Library, students and families can enjoy Nic and Nellie by Astrid Sheckels during the final week of school. This beautifully illustrated story follows a young girl spending the summer with her grandparents on an island, capturing the wonder and adventure of the season.

Mrs. Pomerleau's Preschool classroom had opportunity to incubate chicken eggs. A huge thank you to an amazing parent for donating the incubator and supplies and to another community member for donating the eggs! Our preschoolers got to watch the process of incubation and how chicks grow inside. Yesterday, they came into the classroom to see 9 little surprises waiting for them!

Here are our final Star Students for the 25-26 school year! These students have worked hard and showed our core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, cooperation and compassion. We hope our students continue to model our core values as we proceed into the summer months. We are so very proud of our Star Students!

23 students from WGS attended The Young Athletes Festival today at Cony High School. We are so proud of them and all of their accomplishments!
