We bid farewell to two dedicated E-Board members and welcomed two new leaders to our crew!

The E-Board is responsible for organizing fundraisers, the end of the year banquet, and keeping the spirit of WHSDS positive and fun! Holly, Brianna, Audrey, and Clare have proved their positivity, enthusiasm, and organizational skills time and time again! We are so lucky to have such a great group of students to step up as leaders for the upcoming season ☺️

Our final spotlight shines on a graduate who never failed to make us laugh, the incomparable
James Stangle!

James has created a role of his own in WHSDS; he spent so much time in rehearsals honing his
comedic skills only to also turn up to tech and be a reliably hard worker, doing whatever he
could to help each show run smoothly! His performance in “The Radio Play Disaster, ” had us in stitches night after night, and his time as Handsome Warren had us literally rolling on the floor laughing!

James leaves many CVS 2$ packs of Gummy Peach Rings to eat during tech week to Ella Spagnoli, and the rest of us a reminder that in order to become our best self, we must never
limit ourselves.

So excited to introduce WHSDS's official Head Cheerleader, Elaina Freeman!!!

Elaina is quite possibly the most devoted hype girl of her generation! This icon has been more dedicated to WHSDS than the sun is to rising each day! From plastering posters all over town to plastering a smile on all those she encounters, Elaina is enthusiasm personified.

Elaina leaves Holly her pink digital camera, Bri her script day ideas, Sarah a roll of ritz crackers, and leaves the rest of us with time memory of a cheerful soul who made each room brighter with her smile.

This 2026 Graduate has been the heart of WHSDS since her debut! Put your hands together for Jillian Buonopane!!

Powered by cheerios, Jillian would show up to rehearsal, after one of her 37 club meetings or the day after a grueling dance competition, and pour her soul into each line! Never complaining, constantly giggling, Jillian is a bright light who brings out the best of whoever she is with both on and off stage!

Jillian leaves Juliet her mic tape and a legacy of devotion, kindness, and artistry

This 2026 Graduate slays the house down boots Houston im deceased, raise a toast to Sheridan Daley!

Sheridan's presence in Drama Society is going to be absolutely impossible to replace! From her infectious laugh, constantly bringing joy into the room, to her superpower of a voice that could bring a stone to tears, Sheridan is truly an amazing soul, one I am proud to have met.

Sheridan leaves Michael her rehearsal chair to continue putting away, and her portrayal of Hades is going to leave a permanent mark in WHSDS history as one of one greats.

The time has come to introduce our best dressed graduating senior... Jake "Ash" Kowalczuk!

Ash is a hilarious actor with a stunning style all that is completely unique to them. Being a Costume Coordinator is a thankless job and Ash has spent the past four years dedicating themselves to it! Their nerve and talent when it comes to turning a character up to 11 on the stage is unmatched!

Ash leaves the costume closet and all of its worries to Olivia, and leaves us with a reminder to always be our most charismatic self on the stage.

Arianna has been a driving force in drama society since her very first show! From run crew to Deck Captain, Arianna has honed her skills and become one of our most valued leaders in all things tech! Arianna's eye for design, excitement to try something new, and drive to get the job done are just a few things that make her an amazing person and designer!

Arianna leaves Bri her yellow drill, and tiny measuring tape, and leaves us a reminder that when you keep the vibes positive and allow yourself to try something new, you will become the best version of yourself

This 2026 Graduate is our real life Troy Bolton... give it up for the incomparable Josie Barry!

We have been so lucky to have borne witness to Josie's powerful voice in our last three musicals! Josie's theatre journey with WHSDS has been one for the ages; from her commanding debut in Freaky Friday, to her moving presence as Jane Seymour, and capping off her time wth her heartbreaking performance as Orpheus, Josie is truly in a league of her own.

Josie leaves her medicine ball teas to Juliet Bettano, and leaves somebody over here 🎤 memories of pure joy and a reminder to always put your heart into everything you do.
