Our mentor program is designed to help current 5th graders build confidence, leadership skills, responsibility, and independence while helping younger students throughout the summer — all while preparing students for a successful transition into middle school 💙

The first day of school is always a big step — filled with excitement, a few jitters, and lots of new beginnings. ✨ Parents, you’ve cheered them on through every grade, and now it’s time to watch them take on new challenges, friendships, and adventures. 💛

Every afternoon, they’ll come back with stories of what they’ve learned, the goals they’re chasing, and the memories they’re making. 🌟

💡 Reminder: SPARK Afterschool begins September 2nd! Please be on the lookout for application approval messages — they’ll be sent out over the next couple of days. ✅

Our 2025–2026 Afterschool Program runs September 2 – June 11, Monday through Friday from 2:35–5:30 PM. The program also operates on scheduled half days (except Wed. Nov 26) and follows the Winthrop Public Schools calendar.
