Enough is ENOUGH!
Enough talking. Enough waiting. Enough accepting inequities as normal. It’s time to act boldly for children and families.
And that is what the ENOUGH Act is all about. Filed by State Senator Sal DiDomenico this anti-poverty bill is a bold, place-based strategy to break cycles of intergenerational poverty and expand opportunity for children and families across the Commonwealth.
FKO was honored to join Senator Sal, Former MA Secretary of Education & Founding Director of the Harvard Graduate School of Education EdRedesign Paul Reville, Founder and President of the Harlem Children's Zone Geoffrey Canada, Superintendent Abeyta and colleagues from Chelsea Public Schools, City of Chelsea Massachusetts- Gov Manager Fidel Maltez, legislators, and cross-sector child advocates from across Massachusetts to send a clear message: OUR CHILDREN CAN NOT WAIT!

❄️ "When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make a snow angel." ☃️
This past week, children and staff in Revere and Winthrop embraced the snow and built forts, slides, and art creations. We appreciate the collaboration between FKO staff, families, schools, and municipalities for working together to navigate the challenges.
