Pitt Community College Career Services & Workforce Development celebrated the recent graduates of the Thermo Fisher PreHire program this afternoon. Thermo Fisher PreHire is a program created to help students garner the educational skills needed to gain employment at Thermo Fisher. The program is for adult learners looking for employment and desiring to be a trainee in the biotechnology industry.

The Thermo Fisher PreHire Program is a partnership between Thermo Fisher Scientific, Pitt Community College, and the Rivers East and NCWorks Career Center of Greenville. The graduates received Thermo Fisher Program Certificate as well as the Creating a Dynamic Resume Certificate.

The graduates from this cycle of the program are Natasha Ardion, Stephan Bullock, Sybil Bunn, Angela Carmon, Bernard Dickens, Shannon Givens, Aleeyah Hopkins, Sharanda Nicholson, Tunnie Nobles, Jykeria Paige, Marcus Ross, Lamar Thigpen, Latwanna Turner, Darius Wiggins, and Emily Williams.

Career Services is hosting a Hiring Event for PCC Students and PCC alumni April 27, 9am-12 pm. During the hiring event, student can get a free professional headshot. So this event will require business casual dress.

Days leading up to the event: We will have 2 days where student can Come to the Career Service office and have their resumes reviewed for feedback to prepare for the Spring 2022 Hiring Event.

Drop-in resumé reviews: April 21st 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
April 22nd 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
