North Carolina Music Educators Association has a new parental resources and support page. Check out the resources related to NC policies, legal rights and workplace protections, national organizations and practical guides, mental health support for parents and children, and resources for children with special healthcare needs.
I am also in the process of creating a substitute database of qualified music teachers who are willing to serve while teachers are away for extended parental and medical leave. If you know of a qualified music substitute or retired teacher that I could reach out to ask about their willingness to be included on the database, please send their name and contact information to: [email protected]
