Jefferson County Christian School is an independent, non-denominational, tax-exempt institution. Since our early beginnings, JCCS has grown from the kindergarten, first, and second grades of the 1978-1979 school year to a complete academic program, Pre-K through 12th grade. Class size is limited to 20 per class, 18 in kindergarten, and 14 in preschool.

Today we celebrated as some of our youngest Royals joined us in the building. Today was the first day of school for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.

Our 2026-2027 JCCS family will be complete when our preschoolers have their first day of school on Wednesday.

From quiet to the sounds of conversations and laughter.

Teachers handing out textbooks. Students getting their school supplies organized and finding their lockers.

Classmates getting reacquainted and meeting new friends. Teachers praying with their students. Administrators sharing scripture with staff and students.

What a great way to kick-off the 2026-2027 school year! Looking forward to our littlest Royals joining us next week. It is going to be a great year!

The first day of school is fast approaching with 3rd - 12th grade students starting Thursday, August 20th.

We ask you to join us in prayer over the next seven days for our school, our families, staff, and Board. With God's blessings, this year will find JCCS being a light for Jesus, impacting the lives of our students and families, and growing HIS Kingdom.

What a blessing to have the many volunteers who helped with playground projects today!

We are so grateful for the time and hard work you put into our playground! Digging up and removing the old mulch helped us get everything prepped and ready for a fresh new layer of mulch. Replacing the playground netting makes the play area safer and better for our kids!
