Naima is participating in our Conductors' Summit this summer, and just accepted two new positions with the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations!

Big news! We are thrilled to announce our new HCO Conductor & HSO Assistant Conductor— Naima Burrs.

Ms. Burrs is an exceptional conductor, violinist, and teacher who joins us from Richmond, VA. Her impressive accolades include performances with Denyce Graves, Lynn Harrel, and the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. Naima serves on faculty at Virginia State University and is currently pursuing a DMA in orchestral conducting at The Catholic University of America
