It’s a beautiful day to read a new book! Our rising 4th graders enjoyed the opportunity to pick out a new book and read outside this morning. We are looking forward to visiting the book bus every Thursday when it stops at WSES!

As they walked the campus one last time, they were surrounded by cheers, smiles, memories, and so much love from our Roo family. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and excited for the journeys ahead.

Our end-of-the-year staff celebration was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and so much appreciation for the amazing team that makes our school so special. This year, we truly watched each other grow — as educators, teammates, and a family. ❤️

Thank you to our dedicated staff for your hard work, commitment, and heart all year long. Wishing everyone a relaxing and well-deserved summer!

Our 3rd graders put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test during an exciting STEM challenge day! 🎢💦🛝

Students worked in teams to design different parts of an amusement park, including water slides, pool cabanas, mazes, thrill rides, water towers, and even chairs for guests! Using teamwork, imagination, and engineering skills, they planned, built, tested, and improved their creations.

We loved seeing our students think like engineers while having so much fun learning!

Our third graders took learning to new heights today during our Paper Airplane Competition! Students used creativity, problem-solving, and engineering skills to design and test their airplanes to see whose could fly the farthest, highest, shortest, and ones with the best spiral and ‘fly’est design.

Our amazing PTA hosted an incredible Glow Party for our students, and the fun was glowing all around! From dancing and games to lots of smiles and laughter, it was the perfect way to celebrate our wonderful students. Thank you to our PTA for your time, creativity, and dedication to making special memories for our school community! 🌟

So very proud of Ms. Khan and Ms. Youngblood for graduating the SCPS NEST program. This morning we enjoyed celebrating all of their growth and accomplishments over their first three years of their career. We can’t wait to watch them continue to soar in year four and beyond! ❤️

Tonight was an incredible celebration of our amazing 5th graders at their end-of-the-year awards ceremony!

We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their elementary years. Their hard work, leadership, growth, and memories made along the way were truly worth celebrating.

As they prepare for the next chapter, we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things the future holds for them in middle school. Once a Roo, always a Roo! ❤️🦘

Today we celebrated a very special group of readers with a lunch alongside our principal, Ms. Ramkissoon! 📚✨ These students accomplished the incredible goal of reading all of the Sunshine State Reader Junior books!

The conversations were meaningful, the laughter was nonstop, and the quality time together made the celebration even more special. We are so proud of their dedication, hard work, and love for reading! Keep shining, Roos! 🦘❤️💙
