🇺🇸 Happy Constitution Day 🇺🇸

Today, Mrs. Thomas’ 3rd grade students celebrated Constitution Day by learning about the importance of the U.S. Constitution and how it helps guide our nation through laws, rights, and responsibilities.

As part of the lesson, students put their civic thinking skills to work by discussing and creating ideas for new laws and rules they would like to see in our school community and across our country. From promoting kindness and respect to encouraging safety and helping others, our young leaders shared thoughtful ideas that reflect the values of good citizenship.

We are proud of our students for engaging in meaningful conversations about leadership, responsibility, and how every voice can make a difference!

Earlier today, our huskies were excited to learn that this year's school production will be Disney's The Little Mermaid, announced by none other than our incredible Music and Chorus Teacher, Mrs. Wilkins!

Little did she know, the spotlight was about to shine on her as well.

During a special live-on-the-air broadcast, we surprised Mrs. Wilkins with the announcement that she has been selected as our Teacher of the Year!

Mrs. Wilkins inspires students every day through music, creativity, and her unwavering belief in their potential. From helping students find their voices on stage to fostering confidence, teamwork, and a love of the arts, she makes a lasting impact on our school community.

It was only fitting that on the day she revealed our journey under the sea, we were able to celebrate the extraordinary educator who helps our students reach for their dreams.

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Wilkins, our Teacher of the Year!

🚍⚛️ Learning in Motion! ⚛️🚍
Our 4th and 5th grade students had an incredible time exploring science on the SCPS Physics Bus! From hands-on experiments to interactive demonstrations, students were fully engaged as they discovered the wonders of physics in a fun and exciting way.
Experiences like these bring classroom learning to life, spark curiosity, and inspire our future scientists, engineers, and innovators. A huge thank you to the SCPS Physics Bus team for providing such an unforgettable learning opportunity!
