Really proud to see Winter Park High School recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a top Florida high school — and leading the list among OCPS schools.

These rankings don’t happen because of one year, one program, or one person. They reflect years of work: teachers pushing students every day, students choosing to challenge themselves, staff creating opportunities and removing barriers, and a community that expects excellence.

I’m proud to lead this work today, but I’m also very aware that I inherited a school with a long tradition of people doing the hard work long before I arrived.

Our responsibility now is to honor that foundation — and keep building.
