CECO is a Winter Park, FL, non-profit center offering programs for children and adults with motor disabilities, such as cerebral palsy. CECO opened its doors in 2001 with the support of families who wanted a program to challenge their children with motor disabilities to acquire new skills and greater independence. CECO’s mission is to combine physical and social educational methods to meet the unique needs of children with motor and cognitive disabilities. Since its inception, CECO has expanded its programs to meet the needs of children and adults with motor disabilities in Central Florida and worldwide. CECO runs a private school, after-school programs, in-home sessions, early intervention program, and summer programs. CECO’s programs infuse motor activities into a life skill-building curriculum focused on increasing the independence of children and adults with motor disabilities.

Yesterday, we came together to celebrate World Cerebral Palsy Day with a day full of outdoor fun! 💚☀️

Our students and participants enjoyed a variety of outdoor games, including tic-tac-toe, bowling, pool, bobbing for C and P apples, and a fun challenge to see who could pick up the most green balls using a pool noodle! 🎳🎱 🍎

Huge thanks to our amazing PTCO for creating the sweetest surprise for our staff! The Heart Cart made its first trip around CECO this week, bringing our team delicious food, drinks, and a whole lot of happiness. 🥰☕🍎

The Heart Cart will be making its way around CECO once a month to help boost energy, spread some joy, and show our staff just how appreciated they are!
