Aloma Elementary is incredibly proud of our Support Person of the Year, Rose Rodriguez. Mrs. Rodriguez supports our 3 and 4 year old class as a program assistant. We are very excited to be hosting our first Global Studies Academy connection! Our second grade students are currently in a cross cultural connection project with students at Centro Educativo Jorge DeBravo school located in Turrialba, Costa Rica.

Our students are conducting research, writing letters to exchange, creating a video project about our school to send to Turrialba, and will have a live video chat with these students in just a few weeks!

Today is PINK OUT, Aloma!

Today everyone is encouraged to donate $1 and wear their finest or funniest pink attire. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to help in their fight against all forms of cancer. Healthy School Team members and patrols will come around with pink pumpkins to collect your donations on that day. We hope to see a sea of pink as we do what we can to help fight this disease that affects so many lives.
