Finally, the SCA will exist to assist, encourage and promote student clubs and organizations in their efforts of establishment and prolongation.

Student Community Association is a liasion for all clubs and extracurricular activities at Full Sail and prides itself in embracing inclusive student community. The Student Community Association is encompassed and upheld by current students who strive not only to achieve the advancement of our students but also to create a social institution allotted the judicial power to indemnify inequity, as w

ell as to be a voice of the student body. The Student Community Association will bestow a means for the student body to express their views and concerns about student life, campus endeavors, and University procedures in a structured, professional manner.

Federal Work Study Student Positions: Social Media & Event Coordinators, DJ’s and Graphic Designers!

Are you down to create and curate special experiences for your student body?
The Student Community Association is looking for dedicated, detail oriented, community focused students to help us make an even more memorable University Experiences.

We are particularly interested in those with experience or high promise in Event planning, DJ work, Graphic Design, and Enthusiastic Social Media Coordinators!

The SCA is thrilled to introduce our Monthly Virtual Socials, a new opportunity for students to come together, build connections, and have fun from anywhere. Each month, we’ll host a different virtual activity, so there’s always something new to look forward to.

Love music? Join us for karaoke or test your knowledge in a song quiz.
Feeling competitive? Jump into a gaming night or challenge yourself during trivia.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, unwind after a busy month, or simply have a great time, our virtual socials are designed for everyone.

The best part? Every month will feature a different activity, making each event a unique experience. No matter your interests, there’s bound to be a social you’ll enjoy!

10 years ago, on June 12th, 2016, at 2:02 am, our community was forever impacted. 49 lives were lost at the Pulse Nightclub located right in the heart of South Orlando. Pulse was a place for LGBTQIA+ members of our community to feel safe, included, and to give them a sense of belonging; this was shattered during Pulse’s Latin Night event. 300 people were present that night. 49 lives were lost, and 58 more were injured, marking this as the deadliest mass shooting in America at the time. On this day, we commemorate the lives lost and the friends and family affected by this horrendous incident. This was not only a tragedy that affected Orlando, but the entire q***r community worldwide.

To pay your respects, today we ask that you keep these individuals in your mind. Even visiting the memorial, it is scattered with Pride and Puerto Rican flags representing the Latin members of our community lost that night. Members of our collective have tried to dampen the way that we pay our respects to these 49 angels, and we cannot let that happen. 10 years may seem like a long time, but there is still work to do. To protect ourselves as members of the q***r community and as allies, we must keep certain things in mind. Be mindful, stay aware of your surroundings, stay close to those you’re with, and always protect your fellow community members.
