In 1970, a group of progressive women at Rollins College decided to break away from a national sorority, creating their own local sorority and establishing their own rules along the way. More than half a century later, Non Compis Mentis continues be a unique local sorority guided by the current members and our values of Individuality, Service, Intellect, and Leadership.
