Scholarship deadlines are fast approaching! 🔥
Deadlines for New Member, Renewing Member, and Young Professional Membership scholarships is September 30th. The deadline for Chamberlain Scholarship for the Annual International Conference is October 30th.

We’re excited to announce that President-Elect applications are now open, and we’re looking for a passionate fundraising professional who is ready to bring their ideas, experience, and leadership to our board.

As President-Elect, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our current leadership, help guide the organization in 2027, and prepare to serve as President beginning in January 2028 through December 2029- a two-year term.

Applications are open through September 30, 2026, and board terms begin January 1, 2027.

We hope you’ll consider raising your hand, sharing your talents, and helping lead our club into its next chapter

Avoiding Burnout in the Fundraising Profession

Passion and purpose often come with relentless pressure including ambitious fundraising goals, donor stewardship, emotional labor, limited resources, event demands, and the expectation to always be “on.”

This interactive session is designed specifically for development and fundraising professionals who want to sustain both their impact and wellbeing. Participants will explore common burnout risks facing advancement teams, including chronic urgency, boundary erosion, compassion fatigue, and the emotional demands of relationship-based work.

Through a guided Burnout Awareness Assessment and Energy Mapping Inventory, attendees will identify personal and team burnout indicators, recognize patterns of energy depletion and renewal, and better understand how workplace culture and communication impact resilience and performance.

The session also introduces practical tools and strategies to support sustainable work habits, regulate individual and team energy, and strengthen overall wellbeing without sacrificing mission impact.
