The SCCPTA (Seminole County Council PTA) is hosting a TOWN HALL and YOU are invited!! This is your chance to hear what the candidates have to say and to answer YOUR questions!

And students, we are talking to YOU too!!  Some of you might be voting in this election and many of you will be voting in the next election. The decisions that are made in the next few years will affect you and your fellow students. Be an informed voter!!

Seminole County families, educators, students, and community members are invited to join us for a nonpartisan Town Hall with Florida House of Representatives candidates on Thursday, September 17.

Seminole County Council PTA is looking for educators who want to bring the teacher voice to the table by joining our SCCPTA Teacher Committee.

We know our teachers see firsthand what students, families, and schools need. This committee gives educators from across Seminole County a place to connect, share ideas, talk about family engagement, and provide valuable feedback on what’s happening in our schools.

The commitment is simple: one virtual meeting each month to start, with plans to eventually move to quarterly meetings.

Hawk Highlights!!

Last weekend, members from our PTSA board joined units from across Seminole County for the first SCCPTA (Seminole County Council PTA) training of the year. Our board members left energized and ready for an exciting year.

But, more importantly, student leaders joined the conversation and reminded us the importance of including the “S” in PTSA! We are proud that our Silverhawk students joined the conversation and used their voice to share their ideas, concerns and remind us of our “WHY” at Lake Howell High School!

✨ THIS is our WHY! ✨

At our first SCCPTA General Meeting & Training of 2026–27, one of the most meaningful sights was seeing our students in the room and at the table. 💫

This year, we’re putting an even brighter spotlight on our students—creating opportunities for them to share their voices, express what matters to them, and be part of the conversations and decisions meant to support them.

We were proud to have student representation from Milwee Middle School PTSA, Seminole High School PTSA, LCMS PTSA, Hagerty High School PTSA, Crooms Academy PTSA, GEMS PTA, Sanford Middle PTSA, Tuskawilla Middle PTSA, Sterling Park Elementary PTA, Lake Mary High School PTSA, Bear Lake PTA, Lake Howell High School PTSA
Different schools. Different ages. Different perspectives. One powerful student voice. 🌟

Because when we say Every Child Shines, we mean making sure our students know they are seen, heard, valued—and that they have a seat at the table.

They are the reason we serve. They are the reason we advocate. They are our WHY! 🖤
