August has come to an end and there’s never been a better time to become part of the Park Avenue District.
As we close out Members Month and head into one of our favorite seasons on the Avenue, there’s so much ahead: fall gatherings, a pumpkin patch, the holidays and all the little moments in between that make Park Avenue feel like Park Avenue.

Rinat Halon said it best: “Love Ruled the Room.” And we couldn’t agree more. 🤍

Last night, Club 1882 members gathered at the beautiful Capen House at the Polasek Museum for an intimate pop-up photography exhibit celebrating love stories through the lens.

Surrounded by beautiful imagery (and even more beautiful stories) couples and friends mingled, connected and found themselves moved by the moments captured on the walls around them.

And that’s becoming one of our favorite things about Club 1882. Every time we gather, we know we can expect something special: community, new friendships and the kind of lasting memories that make Winter Park feel even more like home.

Thank you Capen House for hosting and thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening where art brought us together!

Step inside Through The Looking Glass and you’ll find a boutique filled with purses and jewelry — but spend a few minutes with owner Ricci Culver, and you’ll quickly realize there’s a bigger story here.
Ricci is a business owner, Park Avenue District Board Secretary, supporter of local arts and one of those people who genuinely believes that when one local business succeeds, the whole community is stronger.
She shows up. She connects people. She supports her fellow merchants. She gives back.
And she brings the same warmth to everyone who walks through her doors.
That spirit is a big part of what makes Park Avenue, Park Avenue.

Today, we’re shining our merchant spotlight on Through The Looking Glass and celebrating Ricci, not only for the beautiful business she has built, but for the community she continues to help build around it.

Born and raised in Winter Park, Kevin McClanahan of Fannie Hillman + Associates knows this community from a perspective that goes far beyond real estate. His office sits right in the heart of Park Avenue, he serves on the Park Avenue District Board, and this year, he’s helping plan one of his favorite seasons on the Avenue: Holidays on Park. 🎄

Kevin specializes in Winter Park, Maitland, College Park and Baldwin Park and his deep connection to Winter Park also gives Kevin something special to offer his clients. We’re proud to have Kevin at the table as we work together to steward the place we love, welcome new neighbors and make sure Park Avenue continues to thrive for generations to come.

Tree-lined streets, shady sidewalks, patios, central park, plenty of people-watching… and, of course, a few strategically placed water bowls along the way. 😉
We want to see Park Avenue through the eyes of our four-legged regulars.

Last holiday season, more than 14,000 children climbed aboard the carousel making memories with parents, grandparents and friends in the heart of Winter Park.

This year, the tradition continues!

We are incredibly grateful to the Hill Family and Hill Gray Seven for once again generously sponsoring the carousel and helping bring this beloved experience back to Holidays on Park. Their support is a beautiful example of what happens when people choose to invest in the places and traditions that matter to them.

For Theresa Smith-Levin of Central Florida Vocal Arts, joining meant becoming more deeply connected to the Winter Park community where she was born and now proudly serves.
