Designed to experience a full life 💫

The Quest Therapy Center & Academy reflects Quest, Inc.'s unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities

Inspired by the organization’s motto, "Reach for the stars," the reimagined facility brings earth and sky motifs to life through purpose-filled therapy and academic spaces, collaborative hubs, outdoor zones, and high- and low-stimulus environments.

Once dark and enclosed, the building has been transformed into a porous, vibrant home to students, clients and families to thrive.

At Schenkel Shultz, we're honored to create spaces that make a lasting impact, bringing purpose-driven design to the communities we serve.

Meet Adrian Perez, Designer, whose recent Spotlight, Designed By Every Experience, reflected on the moments, people and passions that have shaped his creative journey.

From athletics to painting murals and serving his community, Adrian shared how perseverance, and teamwork influence not only his approach to design, but also the way he collaborates with others.

Our Spotlights are one of our internal social constructs that bring us together through discovery, design discourse and learning about one another. These are the great foundations for our strong studio culture. 🤝

From lines to steel.

What began as an idea is now taking shape on campus.

The Student Success and Academic Center at the University of North Florida is progressing from concept to construction. The pedestrian spine in the center of campus will soon be punctuated by this hanging ‘Wing’, a showcase space that will expand student life while making support visible and accessible to the whole student.

We are excited to watch this vibrant hub continue to come to life and make a lasting impact at University of North Florida.

Meet Somer Spencer, AIA, LEED AP, Principal at Schenkel Shultz, whose passion for design is matched by her commitment to serving our community.

As a dedicated member of CREW Orlando and its Unite Committee, Somer leads the CREW Closet initiative, a community clothing drive providing gently used professional and school-appropriate clothing for children and families living at the City of Kissimmee's Haven on Vine, a transitional and affordable housing community.

At Schenkel Shultz, we believe in extending our impact beyond the spaces we create. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful CREW Orlando initiative! ⭐✨
