We are looking for someone enthusiastic to work with children. The full-time position is scheduled Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (or closing). The pay is $16.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This is an onsite role at our center location: 7507 Aloma Ave., Winter Park, FL 32792

What You'll Do:
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standard.

What We Need from You:
• High School Diploma or GED and/or Degree in related field of study
• Florida DCF 45-hour training and CDA preferred
• Florida DCF Transcript – Please send transcript to: [email protected]. You can retrieve the transcript from https://childcaretraining.myflfamilies.com/studentsite/admin/signin
• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience preferred
• Must clear a full LEVEL 2, DCF background check
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
• Effective in communicating with both students and parents to meet the needs of the children.
• Personal effectiveness/credibility; integrity; commitment to confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
• Exhibit flexibility, thoroughness, trustworthiness, reliability, collaboration skills, technical capacity.
