Today is Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) Day, a day celebrating college programs designed for students with intellectual disabilities.

This is the first year of the STEEL Program at Ridge Technical College, a two-year, hands-on culinary and hospitality program approved as a Florida Post-Secondary Comprehensive Transition Program (FPCTP), recognized by the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities. Through real-world kitchen training, soft skills, life skills, internships, and industry-recognized certifications, STEEL helps students work toward employment and independent living.
