Amazing Figuresvin Black History!! Imohtep was an architect, mathematician, and scientist, among many other professions. He defied the belief that you can only be good at one thing. He was well read and his life reminds us to keep our heads in books. We honor Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein as amazing mathematicians, but his math led to the building of structures that can't be duplicated with all of the mathematical insight in this age of computers. He is a true testament of the ability of the the human mind. His work on pyramids in Memphis, Egypt was spectacular and worth bringing out of the caves of forgotten history! He inspired me to not just do math, but to build my reading and writing skills. This skill has led to over 5,000 students passing or increasing their reading score on the 3rd grade and High school FCAT, ACT, and SAT! We need you to build your skills to be the blessing that God created you to be in society. Our History depends on you playing your role! Be Great!!!

Does Athletic IQ translate into Academic IQ?
My short answer is: An athlete with a high IQ in their sport should be able to translate the skills they have acquired to the classroom. We just need to help them make that jump.
