Hi parents and caregivers of our VPK class,

If you have not grabbed your child’s High-Five book, please do so… the December edition has quite the activities to get your little one’s brain going without technology…critical thinking is necessary to navigate through life, let’s get them started now! There are so many activities such as cooking, scavenger hunts, reading and much more to engage with throughout the month of Nov/Dec and that’s “PARENT INVOLVEMENT”, don’t forget to send photos of the selected activities and you’ll be featured across the PI wall of fame… if you would like the previous months edition please ask the VPK teacher for one! Literacy! Literacy! Literacy! When your child succeed, we are all rewarded!

Attention Parents:
As many of you know it is cold/flu and RSV season. Please use your discretion and keep your child home when you notice your little one is not feeling well. If your child is away from the center and your child falls ill, it is in the best interest of your child and the rest of the children/staff at the center to stay home. What may appear mild to your child may be detrimental to another child; everyone’s immune system is different! You may notify the center thru the app or call the center. If your child is sent home, your child will need to be picked up within an hour of being notified and require a note from the doctor for him/her to return! There will be no exceptions to this policy! We understand that you may have an employment obligation but your child’s health and the other children/staff is also an obligation! We appreciate and thank you for your attention. If you have any questions you may reach out directly to our center❤️

We have just received an automatic emergency message that POLK COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL will be closed on Tuesday-Thursday of this week, please prepare accordingly! We will be giving updates as they come, any questions you may have may be directed to the center. Please prepare for this storm and take necessary precautions for your families to remain safe during time. We will let you know about plans for opening Friday.

Attention future/potential families…

If you are looking to enroll your child(ren) and will be looking to be funded thru ELC, please complete your school readiness application first at elcpolk.org, this will ensure that you qualify for funds. I cannot stress this enough, NO PROVIDER can guarantee you funding! There is a process and a possible waiting list for ELC, and funds may be limited. Once you’ve been approved for funding, you will be asked to choose a center, and at that time you may then complete the registration at our site and submit your $75 registration fee. Your child’s spot will be held for a period of 4weeks and it is non-refundable, this is why it is imperative to complete the steps in this order. Our enrollment is first come, first serve and we want to be sure that we are a fit for your child’s needs. Please call the center at 863.280.6537 to schedule your tour!
