GLS is devoted to developing intellect and character of its students and providing a Christian learning environment for each one of them. One of our 5th grade students got to step into the role of principal for the day with Ms. Hearn after winning it at our Fall Fest. She got to shadow and see what Ms. Hearn does. They had a good day together and Ms. Hearn said she did a great job.

Please check with your child to see if they have any school library books checked out. All library books are due by Friday, May 15. If students have lost a library book, please let Mrs. Palomaki [email protected] and Gill [email protected] know. Students with any outstanding school library books not turned in, or library fines not paid, will not receive their 4th quarter report card until the issue is resolved.

Due to it being National Day of Prayer and there being chapel, the K - 5 N.U.T. Day originally scheduled for Thursday, May 7, has been moved to Tuesday, May 5. Although not required, Star Wars themed t-shirts is suggested (no costumes or light sabers) to support Vicar Stephen and his Revenge of the Fifth Star Wars Party the evening of May 5 from 5:00 - 8:00PM.
