Tetsumatsu Dojo is the dojo of Sensei Jerry Leverett Jr, 5th Degree Blackbelt of Matsubayashi Ryu Karate Do under Kyoshi Donato Caponigro. Under Kyoshi's direction Sensei offers Traditional, practical karate based on the teachings as they were taught originally. Curiosity and hard work create masters….
A grade /belt level is just a measure of how well you can follow instruction and remember .
Do not confuse memorizing the map with knowing the territory.
( There are many that are phenomenal martial artists that still do not understand the principles of the Art they study. )

Student and awesome guy , Ron Werner, made us an I quit /I unquit board!
In the dojo we have a trend that when we hit a wall or “ finally! “ catch on or realize we have to fix something … people go to a wall and pretend to make a mark to quit! lol.

Great training tonight as we went and visited a local dojo and had a fantastic workout with Ganey Sensei! Grateful to him for his willingness to let us come and visit.
