🚤🪙 Ms. McDuffie’s 1st grade class put their engineering skills to the test by designing boats and seeing how many coins they could hold before sinking! 🌊

Students predicted, tested, counted, redesigned, and maybe even had a few dramatic shipwrecks along the way 😂⚓

Hands-on learning + creativity + a little friendly competition = the perfect recipe for fun! We love seeing our young scientists and engineers at work! 👏

🚀📚 Parents, we need your help on a mission to search “to infinity and beyond” for any library books that may still be hiding at home! We still have 120 missing books 👀🔍

Library books were due back to the Media Center on May 8th, and we still have several books checked out to students. While we absolutely LOVE seeing our students excited about reading, we also want to make sure our books make it safely back home to the library shelves. 🤓📖

Please take a moment to check backpacks, bedrooms, under beds, in cars, and anywhere books may be tucked away. A fine slip was sent home with your student listing the names of the books and fee to replace it if ut cant be found. Every book returned helps keep our library stocked and ready for future readers! 💙

💦🎉 Our 3rd graders had an exciting time on their Legoland field trip Thursday. We then celebrated them and all K-5 students who earned a Level 3 - 5 on the FAST assessment on Friday with a SPLASH during our inflatables and water balloon celebration!

After all their hard work, focus, and determination, it was time for some well-deserved fun, laughter, and memories with friends. We are so proud of our amazing students and all they accomplished this year! ☀️👏

🏆✨ Last week’s award ceremonies were filled with smiles, celebration, and so many proud moments!

We loved recognizing our PreK - 5th grade students for their hard work, growth, leadership, and achievements throughout the school year. Watching them shine and celebrate one another was truly special. 💙👏

🎲📚 Who said the last week of school had to be boring?!

Our creative 4th graders in Ms. Locke's class took Project-Based Learning to the next level by designing their very own MATH BOARD GAMES! 🤯✨

Some games were competitive… some were dramatic… and some may or may not have had rules changing mid-game depending on who was losing. 🤣🎯

We are so proud of our future game designers and innovators! 🎉🧠
