Have you ever felt that sudden drop in your stomach when you see flashing red and blue police lights in your rearview mirror? 🚔

Many of us have had that happen once or twice. And when it does, it’s human nature to bristle a little bit when we are confronted by authority. If we’re honest, most of us don’t exactly love being told what to do.

But what if we completely shifted our perspective on the rules, rulers, and everyday authorities in our lives?

This Sunday, we’re looking at Romans 13:1-10 to have an honest conversation about just that. Our sermon theme this week is “God’s Servants for Your Good”. We’ll be looking at how our ultimate security in Christ transforms how we view and interact with the earthly structures around us.

"Just be nice" isn't very helpful advice when someone actually wrongs you.

In Romans 12, the Apostle Paul gives us a much harder, but far better standard. He calls us to "let love be genuine," to hate evil, and to hold tightly to what is good. This week’s message, “Overcoming Evil at the Foot of the Cross,” is about what it looks like to actually live that out without burning out or becoming cynical.

🌊 THE ANSWERS WE WANT vs. THE ANSWERS WE NEED 🌎

Have you ever asked God, “Why?”

Why is this happening?
Why now?
Why won’t You fix it?
Why won’t You just give me an answer?

Job had questions too—big ones.

And when God finally answered him, He didn’t give Job the explanation he expected.

Instead, God reminded Job WHO HE IS.

📖 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?”
— Job 38:4

Sometimes God doesn’t give us the answers we want.

But He always gives us the answer we need: the assurance that the God who created and rules all things is still in control—and that He has shown His love for us most clearly in Jesus Christ.

🍞 Are you craving something more?

In a world full of quick fixes and endless distractions, we often spend our energy on things that leave us empty. But what if there was food that actually filled that emptiness?

This Sunday, the prophet Isaiah encourages us with a powerful and comforting message: "Soul Food that Actually Satisfies."

☁️🎈 What an incredible week at Vacation Bible School! 🎈☁️

Our "Soaring High!" VBS has officially landed! Over the past five days, we had an amazing time hosting 30 kids as we hopped in our hot air balloons for a high-flying adventure.

From creative crafts and active games to joyful singing and Christ-centered Bible lessons, it was a week to remember. 🎨🏃‍♂️🎶 Most importantly, we loved watching these children explore new destinations and learn the greatest truth of all: Jesus is our best treasure and the only way to heaven. ✝️✨

A massive THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this week so special, and to everyone who kept our VBS in their prayers! 🙏

We’re Soaring High at VBS! 🎈

What a wonderful first couple of days we’ve had at VBS! Our children have been singing, creating, playing, making new friends, and—most importantly—hearing the good news of Jesus.

On Day 1, we followed the Wise Men and learned that Jesus is our greatest treasure. On Day 2, we marveled at God’s beautiful creation and remembered that our loving Lord made the heavens, the earth, and everything in them.

We are so thankful for every child who has joined us, every family who has entrusted them to our care, and every volunteer who is sharing Christ’s love through VBS. Please keep our children and leaders in your prayers as we continue soaring through God’s Word!
