Here’s our September calendar. Another busy month!!
If you can’t make it to a talk, then make sure to come to the orchid show. The show is back in Downtown Lakeland after being away for 10 years. We’re so excited!! It’ll be bigger and better than ever with some new vendors!

We needed another light bank for flasks. We managed to assemble the shelves and hang the first 2 light fixtures, and we’re both still alive and married. I call that a successful project lol 😂 (some F bombs may have been dropped. I’ll let you guess who dropped them 🤣)
And if you’re a long time follower you might recognize this location as the spot where we had a light bank for our private flasks that no one had access to. What happened there those shelves? We rearranged our Florida room and added more shelves out there.

We’ve updated our list of talks. We’re up to 9 different topics now.
If you need a speaker, let us know. We can speak via Zoom too.

We have a last minute addition to our August calendar!! The Orchid Society of Highlands County is having their speaker via Zoom so they asked us if we wanted to sell plants at their meeting. Of course we said yes.
So head to Sebring next Monday (Aug 24) to hear a presentation on Paphs and buy our stuff.
Location: Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 3115 Hope St, Sebring, FL
Doors open at 6:30pm, and meeting starts at 7pm.

Who will we see Saturday at Bok Tower Gardens for Orchid Fever?? It’s included with garden admission and is free for garden members. Multiple vendors and speakers, plus other activities, and don’t forget the beautiful gardens and the carillon tower. More info on their website.
