The edges of the air can be recognised by the appearance of ground, buildings, water, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there.

This is what it’s all about. A friend of mine said, get children started young in aviation. It gives them something to focus all their energy towards. Everything else going on in the world will be peripheral. I’m sure we all have our own story of the first time we sat in an airplane.

I’m a firm believer in giving the next generations, the same guidance and opportunity that I was given.

When starting an aviation career it is not unusual to be overwhelmed, terrified, suffer from lack of confidence and be just plain scared. As experience grows, self confidence replaces fear.
