What made this game of Alphabet Bingo more meaningful was having my student pick up some of the cards to become the “caller”. This gave him an opportunity to practice identifying the letter and producing its corresponding sound in a fun way!

How this student used this activity to work on reading foundational skills:
• He used the tool to pick up the letters on the given card and said the letter name and sound while matching them.
• I dictated a CVC word and as he segmented the three different sounds he heard, he found each letter to build it.
This activity simultaneously works on fine motor skills when using the tool. ✨🔤
