House of Academia is a student-centered private school dedicated to developing the whole child through individualized, supportive, and relationship-focused education. We understand that every student learns differently, so we adapt our teaching methods, academic programming, and behavioral supports to meet each child’s unique needs. Fully approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, we incorporate sensory support, social thinking skills, and developmentally based instruction while maintaining grade-level expectations.

Welcome to our House
House of Academia’s mission is to empower the next generation of achievers by ensuring each individual student gets the personalized attention and specialized learning experience he or she needs. Therefore, House of Academia understands and respects children’s unique needs: fosters a creative learning environment, emphasizes the emotional, social, and intellectual development of each student.
Our educators and supporting staff are equipped and trained to work specifically with special needs children with varying needs: be it autism, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, as well as children that require speech and occupational therapy.
We never lose sight of the role that our special needs student’s enthusiasm for a subject plays in their success. Our team is adept with students ages 5 to 18 and we foster enthusiasm for English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies by effectively demonstrating to them how these subjects apply to and impact their lives.
