As a PT(physical therapist) and baseball mom, I have always recognized the need to add strength speed and agility to my sons training regime and have been a fan of TAT for many years now - now as a client I can further attest to the power of the program.
TAT has helped my son build a strong foundation in preparation for his first year playing D1 baseball at JU.
Dan and all his staff put a tremendous amount of time, focus and energy into the development of each athlete using age and developmentally appropriate drills to maximize gains.
Attention to detail and technique are evident in all aspects of TAT and a large part of the reason I chose this program for my son, Jacob.
We drove all the way from Mt. Dora to be a part of this program and found it more than worth it!

๐ Your athlete is always watching.
They're watching how you handle challenges.
They're watching how you respond to setbacks.
They're watching how you pursue growth.
One of the reasons homeschool families love TAT is because we reinforce many of the same values they're teaching at home:
๐ช Hard work
๐ค Respect
๐ฅ Discipline
๐ Growth
Athletic development isn't just about getting stronger.
It's about becoming the kind of person who can handle adversity and keep moving forward.
That's what we coach every day.

This week we're proud to recognize **Lincoln**, a soccer player in our **Youth Program**, who recently earned a spot on our Achievement Board for **Strength**. ๐
Lincoln is one of those athletes who lets his actions do the talking.
He may not say much, but he consistently shows up with a smile, stays focused, and puts in the work every single session. ๐ช
In fact, he's one of the most focused young athletes we have at TAT.
That kind of attention to detail and commitment to improvement is exactly why he's continuing to develop and earn accomplishments like this.

๐ฅ SHOULD ATHLETES BE DESTROYED BY THEIR WORKOUTS? ๐ฅ
A lot of parents assume harder workouts automatically mean better training for athletes.
Not exactly. ๐
At Total Athlete Training, we believe workouts for athletes should be designed to STIMULATE progressโฆ not ANNIHILATE the athlete.
And thereโs a HUGE difference. ๐ง
Athletes are already:
โฝ Practicing
๐ Competing
๐ Recovering
๐พ Managing the physical demands of their sport
That means training has to complement the sport โ not crush the athlete to the point they canโt recover or perform.
Unfortunately, many programs confuse intensity with effectiveness.
If a workout leaves athletes:
โ puking
โ unable to recover
โ constantly exhausted
โ struggling to perform in practice or games
โฆthatโs not elite coaching.
Thatโs poor programming.
A great athlete training program is balanced, purposeful, and sustainable.
At TAT, weโve spent over 25 years refining an approach that challenges athletes enough to produce real results โ while still fitting into the demands of their sport and schedule.
๐โโ๏ธ Speed
๐ช Strength
๐ง Skill Development
โก Recovery Balance
Thatโs the difference between training athletesโฆ and simply exhausting people.

๐บ๐ธ Memorial Day ๐บ๐ธ
Today is about more than cookouts, days off, and long weekends.
Today we remember the men and women who gave their lives serving our country and protecting the freedoms we often take for granted.
As coaches, parents, and mentors, Memorial Day is also a reminder that sacrifice, service, discipline, and courage still matter.
Those values arenโt just military valuesโฆ
Theyโre life values.
Theyโre the same values we try to teach young athletes every day:
๐ช Hard work
๐ค Accountability
๐บ๐ธ Respect
๐ง Leadership
๐ฅ Selflessness
Sports wonโt always define our athletesโฆ
But the character they build through sports absolutely can.
Today, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
From all of us at Total Athlete Training โ thank you to the brave men and women who served and gave everything for this country. ๐บ๐ธ
