Horizon High School - OCPS Horizon High School is an Orange County Public High School. Florida has a very broad public records law. Under Florida law, email addresses are public records.

HAWK STRONG | Pink Out 2026

On Friday, October 23, Horizon Football will recognize cancer warriors and survivors from our Hawk community during a special pregame ceremony.

While Pink Out is traditionally associated with breast cancer awareness, HAWK STRONG honors those currently fighting or who have survived ANY type of cancer. Our goal is to celebrate their strength, courage and the support of our Hawk community.

Who can be recognized?
--All current Horizon students
--Horizon faculty, staff and coaches
--Immediate family members of Horizon faculty, staff and coaches
--Immediate family members of students participating in Football, Band/Color Guard, Cheer/Dance, ROTC or Athletic Training

Eligible warriors and survivors are invited to participate in an on-field recognition before the varsity football game on October 23.

Happy Monday and CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Lynch and the Horizon High School Chorus for being selected to perform at Disney’s Candlelight Processional on December 26 at the 4:45 pm show. The Candlelight Processional is a breathtaking retelling of the Christmas story in words and music complete with a 50-piece orchestra, choir and celebrity guest narrators. The narrator reads the Christmas story and favorite carols of the season are interspersed throughout the program. They will be joined on stage by high school and community performers from around the country, a professional orchestra, and the Voices of Liberty singers. The celebrity narrator will be Simu Liu, the actors who plays Shang Chi in Marvel movies.

Thank you to the Safe Kids Orange County team for coming out today and providing free helmets to our students.

Students not wearing a helmet at dismissal were offered a free helmet and educated about bike/scooter safety. While students who were caught already wearing a helmet received a voucher for a free ice cream from Kelly's.

Thank you to Orlando Health, Orange County Sheriff's Office, and the Orange County Fire Rescue Department for putting together this great event for our students!
