Get ready to have a ROARING good time! We are thrilled to announce a prehistoric adventure coming to the Media Center on Monday, May 4, for all students in grades K-5 during their Specials time.

Our upcoming event, "Dinosaurs Roar in to Reading," features the incredible team from Dinosaurs Will Always Be Awesome (DWABA)! This is an experience you won't want to fossil-get.

Here is what’s on the "herbivore" menu of activities:
• 📖 Dino Storytime: An immersive tale that will make reading come alive!
• 🦴 Gigantic History: Students will get to see a real Apatosaurus femur up close!
• 🦖 Meet Poe: Say hello to Poe, the world-famous Dino Ambassador!
• ⛏️ Fossil Dig Site: Future paleontologists can get hands-on at our very own excavation station.
• ...and even more Stomp-tastic hands-on activities!

Dress the Part! To make the day even more tricera-tops, we encourage all students to wear their favorite dinosaur shirt on May 4!

We can’t wait to see our students’ excitement reach Jurassic proportions. It’s going to be a prehistoric blast!

Students from the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) recently visited The Blake, where residents hid candy-filled eggs for them to find. The students also spent time interacting with the residents, making it a delightful experience for everyone involved!
