Distinguished Young Women of Florida Scholarship. Leadership. Talent.

The AJM Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that exists to administer cash scholarship awards to Distinguished Young Women program participants across the country. The Foundation Board of Directors is a separate governing body that makes policy decisions and administers funds for the national Distinguished Young Women program as well as many state and local programs across the country.

If developing public speaking skills, making connections across the nation, and competing for the opportunity to earn scholarships and represent FLORIDA onstage sounds exciting, our program is for you! If you are a rising senior set to graduate in 2027 register NOW for a regional program!! Applications will close next Monday (8/24) at midnight. If you have already applied, emails with further instructions are rolling out! Questions? Get in touch!⭐️⭐️

Have you enjoyed following along during America’s Distinguished Young Women National Finals?! Are YOU interested in developing public speaking skills, making connections across the nation, and competing for the opportunity to earn scholarships and represent FLORIDA onstage? That’s a wrap on nationals 2026!!⭐️ We are SO proud of how Avary represented Florida with a bright spirit, determination, and grace. She took her final bow on the nationals stage last night after winning a $1,000 scholarship as a preliminary fitness winner!! We are soaking up every moment of her year left as Florida’s Distinguished Young Woman and can’t wait to cheer her on through all the incredible things she will accomplish at Georgia Tech🤍

Let’s catch up!!🩵 The preliminary shows for America’s Distinguished Young Women National Finals are complete and Avary is a preliminary FITNESS WINNER!!!💪🏼⭐️ She has shone on stage - speaking with confidence and poise and sharing her heart through dance. We are SO proud of our Florida girl!!

Avary has had an amazing first week at America’s Distinguished Young Women National Finals!!!🩵 Visits to the historic Bellingrath Gardens and USS Battleship, a community service day in the Mobile community, a trip to the DYW national headquarters, rehearsals, and more! Today is the day!!! Avary arrived in Mobile, AL this morning to kick off her DYW National experience⭐️🩵 For the next 1.5 weeks state representatives from across the nation will get to know the rich history of Mobile, experience community events, live with a host family, and rehearse - all while making new friends and connections! We are so proud of our Sunshine State girl!
