Winston, GA Mason Creek Elementary opened its doors in August of 2009.

This beautiful two story elementary school is home to 90 staff members and 560 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The school is located on a spacious wooded 28 acre site. There are two playgrounds for student use. The playground at the front west parking lot is for 3rd through 5th grade students. The playground at the rear of the building is for the use of students in kindergarten through second grade. A full size softball field with foul poles and a back stop is also behind the gym.

The goal? Helping parents and caregivers understand common early literacy challenges and giving you practical, easy-to-use strategies to tackle them right at home.

Caregivers are a child's first and most important literacy champions. That's why this event is led by true experts in literacy and child development: local teachers! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

Get those smiles ready, Wolf Cubs! 🐺 Every student will have their picture taken during the school day — no extra prep needed, just bring your best smile!

📌 A few reminders:
✅ Proofs will come home in a few weeks
✅ Parents can purchase pictures online once proofs arrive
✅ No money needs to be sent to school tomorrow

Parents — we're excited to kick off a new year of Beanstack Reading Challenges! Just like last year, we'll have some great rewards for our readers:

🏷️ 300 minutes/month → Brag Tag
🍰 400 minutes/month → Certificate for a Nothing Bundt Cake bundlet (pickup at the Chapel Hill location)
🏆 Top 2 readers school-wide → County recognition each month!
