Why was Fate's Alternative Toddler Education (FATE) created? It all began on February 14, 2013, when it was confirmed that another much awaited member would be joining our family. We are overachievers that like to be prepared, so we looked into different school districts and educational programs for our child even before they were born. It was at this point, that we realized that no one would be a
ble to provide a better education to our child than us. And why stop there; when we know there must be other parents looking for an alternative just like us! Fate's Alternative Toddler Education is committed to provide a unique early education that prepares toddlers for academic and social success. We believe that before you can succeed elsewhere, it must start at home. In our home setting, we teach children skills that they will use for the rest of their lives! We are special because we offer a curriculum that is a combination of Montessori and Applied Behavioral Analysis! What that means is that we nurture a child's spontaneous urge to learn in ways that are both natural and scientific. We are dedicated to providing your child with an education not found anywhere else. It is not a "one-size-fits-all," type of education! We tailor our program to your child; not the other way around. Your child will work with a professional behavioral technician certified by the BCBA. They will receive at least 2 hours a week one-on-one modeling and instruction in colors, shapes, emotions, actions, animals, numbers, the alphabet, and more. We believe in quality over quantity, so instead of packing as many children as possible, we limit the number of students to 4 per class session. That means a 2 to 1 student to teacher ratio! We accept all children ages 1-6. They don't have to be potty trained! Morning and afternoon classes are available. Ages 1-3 meet twice a week for 4 hours a day.
