Moore School was established in 1951, and is located off Stratford Road near Thruway Shopping Center on Knollwood Street. Moore School was established in 1951.
The school is located off Stratford Road near Thruway Shopping Center on Knollwood Street. The school board designated Moore as a countywide magnet school in 1971 and the school became known as Moore Alternative School. As part the county's limited school choice plan implemented in 1999, Moore maintained its countywide magnet status while acquiring a residential component. Its name was changed to Moore Magnet Elementary School.

It was a day for as our 5th grade students are moving on to middle school and the Moore class of 2018-2019 visited for a walk through the halls before they walk across the stage to graduate from high school.

Shout out to families in Ms. Brinson's kindergarten class for having all books returned to the media center on time!
Search the bottom of the closet and look under the bed and couch for the library books that haven't been turned in yet. Ms. Crede has sent home lists of missing library books. If you know the book is gone for good, you can either pay for it OR replace it with a gently used or new copy.
