To sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community by promoting knowledge of resources/services and/or needs of the libraries.
The Friends of the Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center can boasts at being the oldest organized friends of the library in Forsyth County. In the 1950's. Afrocam American residents organized this forum to support the library in their resources for the community. Still operating today, the friends group is renewed and ready to continue to be a strong supporter and advocate for the libarary and it's endeavors.
