| The Singing Rams are taking WSSU to the world stage.
Today, the Grammy-nominated Singing Rams begin their journey to Vienna and Salzburg, Austria, where they will perform as one of only four collegiate vocal ensembles selected nationwide for this prestigious cultural tour.
As they share their talent, artistry and the rich tradition of African American music with international audiences, they will also represent the excellence and impact of Winston-Salem State University around the world.

A historic first is coming to Winston-Salem State University.
WSSU has announced plans to launch new bachelor's and master's degree programs in Public Health, including what will become the first Master of Public Health (MPH) degree offered by an HBCU in North Carolina, pending final accreditation approval.
The new programs will help prepare future leaders to improve community health, respond to public health challenges and strengthen emergency preparedness efforts across our state and beyond.
