Why CUS:The love and support I felt from the beginning made it clear that this is where I wanted to be. I wanted a sisterhood that values education, culture, strength, and individuality, and I found that in CUS. It gave me the confidence to embrace who I am and where I come from, and create so many meaningful relationships with other sisters. 🌺

Why CUS: From the first coffee meeting where I got to learn about CUS, to getting to know all of the amazing sisters within our organization, I realized that CUS was my home away from home. MEET THE NEOS! 🌺 #2 Esmeralda “Lazotl” Rios
Hometown: Dallas, TX
Year: Sophomore
Major: Economics and Accounting minor
Ethnicity: Mexican 🇲🇽
Campus Involvements: First in Flight, OLAS, WFU Book Club
Fun fact: I love any fun drinks, like coffee and matcha ☕️
Why CUS: I chose the sisterhood of Corazones Unidos Siempre because of how genuinely welcoming and kind everyone was from the start. There was just something about every sister I met, the way they carried themselves with confidence but still made space for others is what really stuck with me and made me respect them so much. Becoming a sister myself has pushed me to grow in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. And becoming a sister myself has pushed me to grow into a more confident and compassionate woman! I am honestly really grateful for everything this sisterhood has and continues to give me. 🫶🌺
