The Board of Education recognized schools that won Clean and Green awards during their meeting last week. Clean and Green is an initiative with Keep Winton Salem Beautiful and the Garden Club Council that rewards schools that reduce litter, provide environmental education, and beautify their campuses. Congratulations to School, School, and School for winning awards, as well as , Atkins_HS, HallWoodward Elementary School, and KernersvilleES for winning honorable mentions!

Help your student be prepared for EOG testing starting this week. Students should get a good night’s sleep, arrive at school no later than 8:40 AM, eat a good breakfast, and practice silent calming strategies. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help during testing this week and next. Remember that there will also be small group testing on Friday, May 15th and Monday, May 18th.
